Survey Research, Data Collection and Analysis

Humanitarian programs are often challenged to establish valid evidence concerning the effectiveness and impact of their programs. Too often programs and policies are established and based on evaluation recommendations that are supported by weak findings and conclusions. This leads to programs and activities that not only fail to meet the expectations of those directly affected by the program, but also undermine the organization’s efforts and resources.

Tinogona Consulting will assist your organization to establish an evidence base for decision making on whether to scale your programs, terminate, determine funding and/or areas that may need improvement. A variety of methods and techniques will be used to support evidence for your program decision.

Tinogona Consulting has wide experience in primary and secondary data collection, analysis and reporting. Each of the consulting team has expert knowledge in the use of Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), Electronic Surveys (ES) and Written Survey (WS), Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and Individual and Group Interviews.
